The boy is eight years old. According to Fox 13 Memphis, Maurice Adams, Jr. was leaving an high school graduation, when he saw an elderly woman attempting to cross a street. Maurice's mother said that her son asked her if he could get out of the car to help the woman get across.
Once Maurice got the elderly lady across the street and up a small hill, she gave him a hug. Maurice's mom didn't realize anyone was recording her sons actions and said she's proud of him!
