I really can't say I had an Easter tradition growing up. Fern was my "second mom" and she lived next door to me. She was unmarried and had no children, so I was like her kid. She'd buy me four or five new outfits each Easter (and six months later for my birthday), so that's what I remember.
When our kids were growing up, it was the outdoor Easter Egg Hunt...which is fine unless it's an early warm up.
