With the snow, the City of Cedar Rapids called an end to the 2022 gold season. In a release, they wrote, "Ellis Golf Course, Twin Pines Golf Course, and Mini Pines Miniature Golf Course have closed for the season." I feel slightly mournful, but only because I didn't play a single hole this year. Should I feel guilty promising myself that I'll play golf at least twice a month next year?
Good news, though, is that you can take care of your golfer's Holiday shopping! "The Ellis Pro Shop will remain open through December 23 for holiday shopping. Holiday hours are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. It will be closed November 24 and 25 for Thanksgiving."
Good thing is my neighbor has an indoor golf simulator! Maybe I can improve my game and not lose as many golf balls this next summer. Heck, with a simulator, I'm guaranteed to not lose any golf balls this winter!
