As part of the 2022 Freedom Festival, the City of Marion is welcoming The Ron Burgundy’s to the Klopfenstein Amphitheater for the Performing Arts at Lowe Park on Sunday, June 26. Now, if you know me, you know I've been called the Skipper of the S.S. Yacht Rock. Since it's a Sunday, this is a VERY appealing concert!
According to a news release from The City of Marion, "Guests will enjoy yacht rock and other hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s at this free concert. The fun starts at 6 p.m. Bring chairs and blankets for open lawn seating. Outside food and beverage are permitted. Food will be available for purchase from Hy-Vee, O’s Grill and Kona Ice."
They'll have parking on hard-surfaced lots, as well as overflow parking in the grass.
