Meanwhile, I like sprucing up my ice cream just a little bit. For example, I save little bits and pieces of things, including chocolate dust, those last three or four chocolate chips, marmalade/jam/preserves, stale cookies...you know. AND...I use kosher salt, as well, to bring a little savory to it.
