Are we going to have to run soybeans through the dryer?

It's possible, given that roughly 1/3rd of the state's soybean crop is still in the field and the ground remains wet. 15 percent beans seem to be fairly common which is just too wet to keep, and that has people talking about setting up to dry soybeans. While uncommon around here, they do this on a fairly regular basis further South due to high air humidity and growing season length, so there's a decent amount of guidance available. A big thanks to our Big Show Buddy Jim LaFrentz, Pioneer Agronomist in Southeast Iowa for turning onto this advice. Here's a nice set of basics from Professor Sammy Sadaka at the University of Arkansas, click here.
