Former President Trump will be in Federal Court in Miami this afternoon for his arraignment on 37 counts related to documents the Government says he should not have had. Trump strenuously denies the accusation.
When the indictment first came down, Democrats were celebrating, but now maybe not so much.
You see in a CBS poll taken between June 7 and 10, half the country believes these charges are politically motivated. Of course if you look at the parties, it's no shock that 69% of Republicans believe this while only 8% of Democrats do.
The problem for the Dems is independents. A plurality of Independents – the fastest-growing and largest political group in the country - is siding with Republicans on this issue.
Timing is also suspect. A day after we discovered that President Biden is accused of taking a $5 Million bribe, the indictments came down.
All of this leads to today's question - does latest Trump indictment make it more or less likely he will be President again?
