We just passed the first funnel in the Iowa Legislature. Some Bills survived and inevitably some Bills died.
Some of those that still live on include HF 368 Landowner protections from Carbon Capture Pipelines - that's the Bill to curtail Eminent Domain, HSB 218 which would ban paying for Diversity, equity and inclusion at state universities, SSB 1145 which is the Governor's education Bill and HF 101 which would put the 988 phone number on school ID cards.
Bills that died in the funnel include Legalizing recreational pot, banning drag shows for minors, a gay marriage ban in Iowa and a total abortion ban in the State.
