The NFL kicks off tonight as the Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs entertain the Houston Texans.
It will be a season unlike any other with limited fan participation and I'm sure some teams having to postpone or even end seasons as the Rona takes it's toll.
And then there will be the kneeling. The Commissioner, Roger Goodell has issued a statement on Twitter in which he said in part: "We, the NFL, condemn racism and the systematic oppression of Black People. We, the NFL, admit we were wrong for not listening to NFL players earlier and encourage all to speak out and peacefully protest. We, the NFL, believe Black Lives Matter."
Kneeling during our National Anthem will be allowed.
I have been clear. The NFL made me not care anymore. I didn't watch for years. I won't be watching tonight either, but I will watch the Tampa Bay Bucs because the team made me care again. If they disrespect my country and flag that will change.
