A woman from Honduras who was eight months pregnant, somehow managed to climb the border wall and 24 hours later, she gave birth to what is now a new American citizen.
According to Fox News, Maryury Elizabeth Serrano-Hernandez, 19, arrived in Tijuana, Mexico last month. Locals don't like the caravan being there and so the decision was made to scale the wall.
Currently at the formal crossing point, 100 asylum seekers are being processed per day.
Univision has also been following her family. Calling the birth in the U.S. a "big reward" for her family's journey, Serrano-Hernandez told Univision, which documented parts of their journey: “With the faith in God, I always said my son will be born there (in America).”
