COACH STITH’S COMMENTS
“We were collectively more competitive as the tournament went on. Round over round improvement is a strong sign. Sixth in this field is quite good. Matthew Walker hasn’t been far off and this finish should really boost his confidence. Alex Schaake bounced back today with a 69 and Moorman lit up the back with a bogey-free 30.”
Iowa will tee off at the Big Ten Championships in Baltimore, Maryland, April 27-29. Iowa tied for fourth in last year’s conference tournament.
