Another batch of light snow heads across the state tonight.
You can expect a trace to 1” of snow by morning. This will once again cause slippery spots and stretches on area roads. More snowfall is not far away as the next system quickly follows it up with more snow Thursday night into Friday.
This will be a significant snowfall. At this point we are looking at 4-6” across a good share of eastern Iowa with some locally heavier totals possible. Just when you think you have had enough snow, more comes our way on Saturday.
