(West Des Moines, IA) -- There's another round of layoffs at UnityPoint Health. The West Des Moines-based health care provider says affected employees were notified July 7.
The company is not saying how many jobs will be lost. In April 207 IT positions were eliminated. UnityPoint operates regional and community hospitals and more than 400 clinics across Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. UnityPoint has more than 30,000 employees in the Midwest. The company says the layoffs affect less than one percent of their workforce.
