(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- You may soon be able to get your checked bags faster after landing in Cedar Rapids.
Eastern Iowa Airport is getting a $6-million federal grant to update its baggage handling system.
CID is one of four Iowa airports sharing in $15.75-million dollars from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Airport Terminal Program.
Airports in Burlington, Des Moines and Fort Dodge will also receive funding for airport infrastructure and to improve the passenger experience across the state.
