(Des Moines, IA) -- Victims of violent crime in Iowa will be notified about the status of protective orders.
The Iowa Vine program already lets crime victims know about the custody status of their offenders.
Now the program is being used to notify victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence about the status of civil protection orders.
The Protective Order notification system can be accessed online.
