(Iowa) -- Iowa State Patrol Troopers will deploy their Mobile Breath Alcohol Testing (MBAT) truck over the next few months.
After full training sessions, the Iowa State Patrol will be posting the truck at various high-traffic or high-risk areas across the state, eliminating the need to transport suspects to distant, fixed police stations, and allowing troopers to process multiple arrests at once, reducing the time officers spend off the road.
