(Council Bluffs, IA) -- Police release the name of the man who was killed in a one vehicle crash on Interstate 29 in Council Bluffs.
C.B. Police investigators say 39-year-old Alex Foster Jr. of Omaha was found by Iowa Department of Transportation crews, near mile marker 45 just south of Lake Manawa Thursday afternoon.
Investigators believe speed was a factor.
Police say Foster crossed into oncoming lanes, hit the bridge end support, and landed in the water.
