(Linn County, IA) -- A public hearing on Linn County's 2027 budget plans is scheduled for Wednesday.
The Board of Supervisors will listen to public feedback on the property tax levy for next year.
The county plans to drop the levy by one-cent per $1,000 of value.
The decrease will save a homeowner with an average value of $200,000 about $35 on the county portion of their tax bill.
