(Davenport, IA) -- There will be no Quad Cities Air Show this year.

Organizers aren't saying why, but are looking for people interested in serving on an advisory board to reimagine the event going forward.

The Quad City Air Show was recognized by many as one of the top civilian airshows in the industry.

The first one was held in 1987.

More information about joining the advisory board can be found on the Quad City Air Show website.
