(Midwest) -- AAA is offering free rides to drivers who may have celebrated St. Patrick's Day a little too much to get behind the wheel.

The Tow to Go service will be activated on Monday, March 16th at 6pm and remain active until Wednesday, March 18th at 6am. The program offers free rides to impaired drivers and their vehicle to a destination of their choice within ten miles of their current location. The service is free, anonymous, and available to both AAA members and non-members. The rides cannot be scheduled in advance, and AAA recommends using the service as a last resort. Impaired drivers can call for a free ride and tow by calling 855-286-9246.

The Tow to Go program is available in 12 states, including Iowa, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. More information on the program is available on AAA's website.
