(Linn County, IA) -- Closing arguments are expected today in the murder trial of Matthew Schleier.
He's the man from Marion police say admitted to fatally strangling his five year-old son eighteen months ago.
On Friday, experts testified that Schleier couldn't distinguish right from wrong, and was under the delusion that it was better for his kids to die safe with him than out in an unsafe world.
Schleier is pleading not guilty by reason of insanity.
