(Des Moines, IA) -- State Auditor Rob Sand is releasing details of a special investigation into financial transactions processed by the former Tama County Human Resources Manager.
Sand's investigation identified $250,000 in questionable transactions approved by Tamara Wise.
The report also highlights nearly $168,000 of payments made to the County's Health Department that included unsupported reimbursements to Wise.
Sand says his review was requested by the county. Wise sued Tama County last year, accusing it of wrongful termination.
