(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Nearly three dozen staff and parents shared concerns over multiple plans to close or consolidate schools in the Cedar Rapids Community School District last night.
One plan would combine grades 5 to 8, while another would pair grades 7 through 9 in the junior high model abandoned by the District in the 1980s.
School board members say no changes will happen until the 27-28 school year.
They hope to finalize a plan with more public input by April.
