(Iowa) -- Snow fell across Iowa over the weekend.
“Snow totals continue into eastern Iowa generally in the 4- to 6-inch range. There were some higher totals around 6, maybe 7 inches in some spots, and that continued east, basically all the way north of I-80,” said Bill Borghoff, National Weather Service Meteorologist.
He says central Iowa was hit the hardest.
The Iowa State Patrol says it responded to more than 80 crashes and assisted 182 motorists this weekend.
