Food Inspectors Find Numerous Violations At Jack Trice Stadium

(Ames, IA ) -- The Cyclones weren’t the only ones fumbling at Jack Trice Stadium, so were some of the concession stands.

The Iowa Department of Inspections flagged multiple food-safety violations at concession stands inside Jack Trice Stadium. In October, inspectors found dirty equipment, including a soiled ice machine, sanitizer buckets with zero cleaning power, and hot-food items like taco meat and pizza held well below the required 135 degrees. Some stands also lacked basic handwashing essentials like soap.
