(Iowa) -- Thousands of pounds of protein will be donated to Food Bank of Iowa ahead of next week's Thanksgiving holiday.
Fareway is partnering with Iowa Farm Bureau to donate a truckload of protein to Iowa's six Feeding America food banks. The truckload will include 23 pallets - 25 thousand pounds of protein in total - which adds up to 100,000 servings.
