(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- In a bizarre case of mistaken identity, a woman from Cedar Rapids intending to shoot her sister's ex-boyfriend shot his twin instead.
That's what police say happened earlier this month when Faith Profit confronted a man at gunpoint on A Avenue Northeast.
Investigators say Profit fired three shots at the man, eventually striking him in the armpit.
She's facing an attempted murder charge.
The victim's twin brother told police he'd been going through a bad breakup with Profit's sister.
