WalletHub: Iowa's Nation's 17th Most Charitable State

(Iowa) -- A new national study ranks Iowa in the top half of the most charitable states in the country.

WalletHub ranked all 50 states on two large-scale dimensions, "Charitable Giving" and "Volunteering and Service." Iowa ranks as the nation's 17th most charitable state overall, and comes in at number 14 for charitable giving and 22nd for volunteering and service. Wyoming ranks as the nation's most charitable state, while New Mexico comes in at the bottom of the list.
