(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- It's Election Day in Iowa.
Cedar Rapids voters will decide whether to give Mayor Tiffany O'Donnell another term, or elect Myra Bradwell who previously ran for mayor under the name Gregory Hughes in 2021.
One city council seat and several school board seats are also on the ballot, along with the Cedar Rapids Community School District's $117-million bond referendum for renovations and facility upgrades.
In Iowa City, six candidates are running for three open council seats, one of whom will be chosen by their fellow council members to be mayor.
Voters in Coralville will also choose a new mayor, and join North Liberty and Iowa City voters in deciding whether to raise the Local Option Sales tax by 1%.
