(Iowa) -- Iowa Republican Congressman Randy Feenstra is officially running to be Iowa's next governor.
Feenstra formed an exploratory committee in May of this year looking into a potential run for governor and officially launched his campaign Tuesday morning. A native of Hull, Iowa, Feenstra served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. In 2020, he was elected to represent Iowa's 4th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he currently serves on the House Ways and Means Committee and the House Agriculture Committee.
