(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Everyone is reported safe after the evacuation of a downtown Cedar Rapids apartment building last night.

Firefighters say they responded to a report of a carbon monoxide leak at an apartment building in the 200 block of 1st Avenue just after 10pm.

CRFD didn't release the source of the gas leak, but say the building was ventilated and residents were allowed to return to their apartments.
