(Vinton, IA) -- One of two suspects in the death of a 20-month old child is facing charges of resisting arrest.
Police say Mason Morgan struggled and left scratches on several officers while being detained on child neglect charges.
Prosecutors say Morgan and the child's mother, Kaylee Morris are charged with child neglect after Willow Morris died from dehydration last year.
Lutheran Services of Iowa are facing accusations of not notifying the state of unsafe living conditions at the Vinton home.
Kaylee Morris is due in court today.
