(Des Moines, IA) -- "No Kings Day" marches are expected across Iowa on Saturday, October 18.
Rallies will be held in Des Moines, Ames, Ankeny, Grinnell, Indianola, Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Dubuque, and many other Iowa cities. The demonstrations are among 2,500 cities nationwide, in all 50 states. Organizers describe the events as marches for the nation's founding values. Republican lawmakers have called the protests a "hate America rally".
"No Kings Day" events were held nationwide and in Iowa in June.
