(Iowa) -- The Chairman of the Iowa GOP will lead the Republican National Committee's Presidential Nominating Process Committee.
Jeff Kaufmann has been named as the new chair of the RNC's committee responsible for the party's presidential nominating process. This will be Kaufmann's second time leading the committee, having served as chair during the 2024 presidential election cycle. President Trump selected Kaufmann to nominate him in 2024, making him the first Iowan selected to have the honor.
Kaufmann served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2005-2013. He has served as the chairman of the Iowa GOP since 2014.
