(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Neighbors of a major construction project in northwest Cedar Rapids say little is being done to mitigate the effects of the build.

Cedar Rapids School Community District says they're working with neighbors beside the site of what will be the new Hoover Elementary School, but the neighbors say complaints of noise and privacy still haven't been addressed.

The school is expected to open in 2027.
