Child Helps Save Mom By Giving Bus Driver A Note To Call 911

(Fayette County, IA) -- A child in Fayette County helped save their mom by giving a bus driver a note asking them to call 911.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, a student at Sumner-Fredericksburg School handed the note to the bus driver, who immediately contacted authorities.

When deputies arrived, they found the child’s mother being held against her will by 29-year-old Glenroy Miller of the Bahamas. She had been assaulted and was suffering from serious injuries.

Miller is facing multiple charges and Law Enforcement has notified Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
