Regents Order Probe Into University Employee Posts On Kirk Assassination

(Des Moines, IA) -- The Iowa Board of Regents has ordered the state's three public universities to investigate employee social media posts about the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

During a closed session Wednesday, the board directed that any employee under investigation be placed on administrative leave or removed from the classroom.

The universities have two weeks to complete their investigations.

The board has authorized action up to and including termination for any policy violations.
