(Winneshiek County, IA) -- An investigation is underway after a body was found in a river in northeastern Iowa.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says it responded to reports of a body found in the Upper Iowa River near Blufton around 10am on Friday. Authorities were able to recover the body and identify the victim, though the victim's identity has yet to be released.
Investigators say they do not suspect foul play.
