(Iowa) -- The Iowa Transportation Commission approves millions of dollars in funding to replace public transit vehicles across the state.
The Iowa Transportation Commission has approved $8 million dollars that will go to replacing 40 public transit vehicles in 16 systems across the state. The replacements will be based on mileage, age, vehicle type, and expected usefulness of vehicles according to information from the Public Transit Management System database.
