Marion Man Accused Of Flashing Gun During Argument In Iowa City

A Marion man is accused of flashing a gun during an argument in Iowa City over the weekend.  

Police say 20-year-old Levi Heinzerling of Marion got into a verbal argument at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Witnesses reported to police the suspect showed a handgun during the altercation. 

Officers say when they found Heinzerling a short time later he appeared intoxicated and told them a gun was tucked in his waistband. 

Police say he refused field sobriety or breath tests, and was taken into custody.
