(Las Vegas, NV) -- An online survey is aiming to determine the best pizza made in a method unique to the Midwest.
Las Vegas-based online voting platform The64.com has 64 local restaurants competing for the title of Best Quad Cities-style Pizza in a bracket competition.
Quad City-style pizza includes malt in the crust, tomato sauce made with red chili flakes or cayenne pepper, toppings placed under the cheese, and is cut into strips instead of triangular slices.
The contest was launched by the company's chief marketing officer and Quad Cities native Mark DePooter.
It runs through September 7th.
