(Davenport, IA) -- The man charged with the murder of Trudy Appleby is refusing extradition to Illinois.

Jamison Fisher is in the Scott County Jail on drug charges.

A hearing will be held to determine whether he'll be moved to Henry County, Illinois where a grand jury indicted him on a first-degree murder charge.

Appleby was 11-years-old when she was last seen leaving her Moline home in August 1996.
