Former State Agency Director Joins GOP Race for Governor

(Des Moines, IA) -- The former director of Iowa's Department of Administrative Services has entered the Republican race for governor.

Adam Steen announced his candidacy Tuesday, saying he resigned his state position to enter the race. Steen, a former minor league baseball player, says he plans to work with President Trump on an America-first agenda.

He joins a growing field of Republicans seeking to replace Governor Kim Reynolds, who is not seeking re-election.
