(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The family of an African immigrant living in Muscatine says ICE officials are still not providing a reason for his detention.

Nearly 300 people protested outside the Department of Homeland Security office in Cedar Rapids yesterday while Moctar Sanogo, an immigrant from Mali, and three other men were detained by federal agents during a routine immigration check-in.

Sanogo's family says he has no criminal record.
