(Moline, IL) -- The man in charge of Vibrant Arena in Moline for the last two decades has been fired.

The Civic Center Authority says Executive Director Scott Mullen was let go after being charged with OWI three times in the past five years--two of those times in a Vibrant Arena vehicle.

Court records show Mullen was first pulled over for erratic driving in 2020 in Mount Joy.

Records indicate he was also arrested early last year and again two months ago with a blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit.
