(Des Moines, IA) -- The Iowa Board of Regents has approved budgets for the state's three universities, but not without concerns about the school's minding their money.

Two members who voted against the budget approvals for University of Iowa, Iowa State and University of Northern Iowa said they did so out of concerns about oversight. And more specifically about what contingency plans are in place should funding sources dry up.

The budgets of UI and Iowa State are going up nearly 7% while UNI's is rising almost 1%.
