(North Liberty, IA) -- North Liberty is mulling over what to do about its fire station.

The city originally planned to build a second station, but that's now been put on hold in favor of two plans for the existing station.

A Cedar Rapids Gazette reports says Option A would renovate the existing structurally suspect truck bays. Option B would demolish and rebuild them. Estimated costs are between 15 and 18-million dollars.

Council has yet to make a formal decision on how the city will move forward.

Construction wouldn't happen until next year.
