(DES MOINES, IA) -- The leading scorers for the Iowa and Iowa State men's basketball teams have both signed undrafted free agent deals with NBA teams following the conclusion of the NBA Draft.
Former Cyclone guard Curtis Jones has signed with the Denver Nuggets. Jones led Iowa State with 691 total points last season, averaging 17.4 points per game, and was named an honorable mention All-American by the Associated Press.
Former Hawkeye wing Payton Sandfort has signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Sandfort led Iowa with 16.7 points per game last season and scored more than 16-hundred points in his college career.
