(Iowa) -- There's an increased law enforcement presence on Iowa roads through Thursday to highlight a particular Iowa law.
Law enforcement agencies from across the state are partnering to look for drivers violating Iowa's Move Over Law. The law requires drivers to move over or slow down when approaching vehicles on the shoulder of the road displaying flashing lights. The traffic enforcement project runs through Thursday, June 19th, and drivers who are caught violating the state's Move Over Law face a fine of$210.25.
Iowa's Move Over Law has been in effect since 2002.
