Church Leaders Dispute Claims After 88 Children Removed from Iowa Cam

(FREDONIA, IA) -- Leaders of a southeastern Iowa church camp say no children were harmed after 88 kids were removed last week over abuse allegations.

The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office says the children were taken from Shekinah Glory Camp following reports of child abuse and endangerment. All children have since been reunited with their families, while a human trafficking investigation continues.

Camp organizers deny any wrongdoing and say no church members were arrested.
